Practices, box training, and certification runs will be
offered on Friday, August 14 following field set-up
& starting at approximately 1:30 pm. Please advise

Eligible Breeds
Only purebred Afghan Hounds, Basenji, Borzoi, Cirneco dell’Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds,
Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Magyar Agar, Pharaoh Hounds, Portuguese Podengo,
Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish Deerhounds, Sloughis, and Silken Windhounds may be
entered.
Method of Release - Other Breeds will be boxed, EXCEPT that (1) breeds too large to fit
comfortably in the boxes will be hand slipped, and (2) other breeds may be hand slipped upon
unanimous agreement of the owner/agents of the hounds entered in that breed on the day of
the race. Agreements to hand slip should be reported to the Race Secretary before the hounds of
that breed leave the Paddock for the first race of the day.

First Time Entries
First time entered hounds can be registered on the day of the meet by submitting a copy of the hound’s
registration papers (AKC, NGA, UKC acceptable foreign registry, or ILP for all breeds except whippets)
with a check for $2.00. Or registration can also be accomplished by sending that same information
directly to NOTRA a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the meet. Registration is for the life of the hound.

A certification run may be required for first time entries.

Bratwust Themed Pot luck lunch – please bring something to share
Shade – Water - Potluck
We will be able to paddock inside. Water is available. There will be a potluck lunch on
Saturday, so try and bring something to share.

Please be prepared to assist or volunteer for line judging, foul judging and/or helping others
with handling their dogs if asked.

DIRECTIONS TO KING’S RANCH
From Red Roof Inn in Plymouth
Take I-494 North for 5.4 miles to I-94 (Exit #27/St. Cloud), Follow I-94 for 9.1 miles to Exit #207 for MN State
Hwy 101 Rogers/Elk River. Take MN State Hwy 101 northbound toward Elk River for 7.0 miles. Hwy 101 ends.
Take US Highway169 northbound for 1 mile. Turn right on County Road 12 (eastbound) / 181 st Ave NW for about
2.8 miles. NOTE: Country road number changes to County Road 22 after 2.2 miles. Turn Right at the 4 way stop
onto Baugh Street NW (County Road 83). After about 1mile turn right on 173 rdAve NW and immediately turn left.
King’s Ranch is on your left. Use the second driveway. Distance 27.2 miles, 33 minutes.
From Motel 6 – Brooklyn Center
Turn Right onto Shingle Creek Parkway, Turn right to take ramp onto I-94 Westbound toward I-694 Westbound /
US 52 Northbound. Follow I-94 for 15.7 miles. Take Exit #207 for MN State Hwy 101 Rogers/Elk River. Take MN
State Hwy 101 northbound toward Elk River for 7.0 miles. Hwy 101 ends. Take US Highway169 northbound for 1
mile. Turn right on County Road 12 (eastbound) / 181st Ave NW for about 2.8 miles. NOTE: Country road number
changes to County Road 22 after 2.2 miles. Turn Right at the 4 way stop onto Baugh Street NW (County Road

From the South, Southeast and Southwest following US Highway 10 Northbound: Take I-94 to US 169
North to US 10 (when you get to Main Street in Anoka on US 169, continue to go straight across Main Street. You
will be on Ferry Street for about 4 blocks until you are at US 10). Turn left on US 10 and go about 4.5 miles. Turn
Right on Armstrong Blvd NW / CR-83 and go about 4.3 miles. Turn Left onto 173rd Ave NW and then an
immediate left onto Baugh St NW. Enter King’s Ranch by the 2nd driveway on the left.
