Wolfhound, Chart Polski, Magyar Agar, Galgo Espanola
Saturday 24.07.2010: Afghan, Azawakh, Saluki
Sunday 25.07.2010: Whippet, Italian Greyhounds, Sloughi
as well as the Mediterranean sighthound breeds in Group 5:
Cirneco de l'Etna, Podenco Ibicenco, Podenco Canario,
Pharaoh Hound. The breeds in Group 5 may participate but
cannot race for the CACIL.

For hounds running on Friday, also Thursday evening, 16h00 – 18h00.
For hounds running on Saturday, also Friday evening, 17h00 – 19h00.
For hounds running on Sunday, also Saturday evening, 17h00 – 19h00.
Race Distances:
1
400 - 700 m for small breeds,
700 -1000 m for all other breeds
Natural field. Course recommended only for hounds which are
fit and well-trained.
Drive:
Artificial rabbit on a cord around pulleys
Rules:
FCI coursing rules (applicable since January 1st 2007)
Doping:
In accordance with FCI rules and French national directives.
Entry fees:
€30,00 per hound, payable by the team leaders during their
meeting on Thursday July 22nd 2010.
Entries:
Entries may only be submitted via the dog
clubs/sighthound commissions of the countries
concerned. Entries must contain the following information:
Name of the hound; Breed; Sex; Date of birth; Tattoo or
microchip No; Coursing licence No, Pedigree No and the
owner's full name and address
Indicate (yes/no) if the hound can run for the CACIL.
The officials of the dog club/sighthound commissions of the
countries concerned should submit their list of participants
(MS Excel document) by email to:

Admission:

A maximum of 6 sighthounds per country, per breed, per sex.
European Champions from the previous year may take part in
addition to the allocation.
If there are fewer than six competitors for any breed at the
start, not title can be awarded. Nonetheless, under
extenuating circumstances, the CdL delegate, in agreement
with the judges, may award the prize.
If there are fewer than four competitors for any breed at the
start, the FCI championship for this breed will not be
awarded.
The last two coursing meetings before entries close must be
completed without disqualification. A disqualification between
the closure of entries and the Championship excludes any
participation.
Muzzles:
In France, it is obligatory for all breeds, except Italian
Greyhounds, to wear muzzles when racing.
Prizes:
A red racing blanket for the winner ("Championnat d’Europe
de Coursing FCI") and finalists prizes for places 2 to 6. Each
entrant also receives a souvenir gift.
Entries for judges:
In the form of a special list, submitted at the same time as
the list of hounds. The information required for judges
includes: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address.
Veterinary advice
To enter France, each hound must be identifiable (microchip
or legible tattoo) and have a valid rabies vaccination.
In accordance with article No 1.11 of the FCI sporting
regulations, neither the organisers nor officials bear any
responsibility for accidents to owners, hounds or officials. The
same applies to hounds who break free. Hound owners are
responsible for any acts their hounds commit as a result of
this during the Championship.
Responsibility
Camping:
There are places available for caravans, mobile homes, and
tents near the coursing ground. Toilets and water will be
provided. Electricity is not supplied. Places must be booked at
least thirty days before the start of the Championship. First
arrivals are permitted from Wednesday July 21st at midday.
Latest departures time is midday on Monday July 26th.
Camping fees are EUR 20 no matter how many days are
required.

Itinerary:
From the North (PARIS)
A6 Motorway: Tournus exit,
follow for “MACON” on the N6
After about 7 kms, turn right towards UCHIZY / CHARDONNAY
From the South (LYON)
A6 or A40 Motorway: MACON Nord exit
follow for CHALON sur SAONE on the N6
After about 20 kms, turn left towards UCHIZY/Chardonnay
In CHARDONNAY, at the junction in front of the town hall, turn left, then drive for
800m to get to the parking and camping grounds.
