Sarah Hewlett Non-Tenure-Track Instructor ED 230 503- 838-89124 hewletts@wou.edu Education Background: MA in Interpreting Studies at Western Oregon University BS in Educational Interpreting at University of Arizona Bio: Sarah Hewlett moved to Oregon in 2008 to start her interpreting career, and began teaching in the ASL/English Interpreting Program in the Fall of 2013. Prior to that, WOU was still her home as a staff interpreter, and she is happy to say that Western is her happy place. Sarah has 7 years of interpreting experience in a variety of settings, but Post-Secondary work and theatre have become her passions. She is a mother of two young hobbits, also called children, and works as a photographer on the side.
