Networks, a leading provider of networking solutions for data centers and enterprises, and
Cumulus Networks®, creator of the first full-featured Linux network operating system, today
announced the availability of Edge-Core data center switches with integrated Cumulus Linux
operating system. Through an OEM agreement with Cumulus Networks, Edge-Core will deliver
and service a full portfolio of 1GbE, 10GbE, and 40GbE data center switches with Cumulus Linux
built-in for top-of-rack and spine deployment, through its integration partners across North and
South
America,
APAC,
EMEA,
Russia
and
CIS.

Product Availability
The following Edge-Core data center switches with integrated Cumulus Linux are available now
from Edge-Core channel partners worldwide. All products are designed with the high
performance and high availability features required for deployment in the data center as top-ofrack or spine switches, with redundant fans, redundant AC or 48VDC power options, 12VDC
power options, and options for front-to-back or back-to-front airflow. Cumulus Linux provides
open Layer 2, Layer 3, and modern network virtualization capabilities for scalable data center
fabrics, while delivering operating cost efficiencies with Linux management, provisioning,
automation
and
analytics
tools.
Cumulus Linux is preloaded on the switches, with software license and support bundled. EdgeCore is fulfilling the license.




