Islamic publications– Mervyn K. Lewis
Professor M.K. Lewis, B.Ec (Hons), Ph.D), FASSA is Professor of Banking and Finance at
the University of South Australia. His publications cover 21 books, 65 articles and 76 book
chapters on a variety of topics including monetary economics, financial systems, public
private partnerships, state-owned enterprise reform, corporate governance, property
financing, the US deficit, global imbalances and the global financial crisis.
A special area of interest recently has been Islamic banking and finance, and details of his
