California State license, California Speech Language
Pathologist Services Credential (SLPS), and ASHA

25 Observation Hours
Complete the Master’s degree
Pass the Praxis
Practicum Hours: total of 400
documented hours which include at
least 50 hours in 3 separate settings
(school, hospital, Truesdail) and at
least 100 Public School hours.
Also required is successful completion
of the comprehensive examination.

oral case presentation or a Master’s thesis.
