ENROLLMENT IN BUSINESS ENGLISH ONE To enroll in Business English One (BE1), it is necessary to present an acceptable qualification certifying B2 level in English in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. One way to do this is to achieve the B2 level on the Oxford Online Placement Test, which will be offered by the University of Vienna Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics next on 19 December 2014 and 2 February 2015. The other way is to present another acceptable qualification. The following is the official listing of qualifications approved by our Faculty for the purpose of assessment of proficiency in the English language for admission to BE1. This Faculty may, at its discretion, place additional requirements within individual offers. Where individual skills scores are required, these must be achieved on one certificate. Acceptance will be based on the candidate’s most recent qualification or test result, even where a higher result was achieved in the past. Tests of English language competency take place weekly on Tuesday afternoons until the end of September 2014 and then again beginning November 2014. For more information, please contact Lic.
