BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The teacher will provide instruction at the professional level as a classroom teacher according to the setting and organizational structure of the school. He/she will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating instructional activities under stated guidelines. A minimum of 12 semester hours must be in Elementary Education to qualify for an elementary position. In addition, applicants will have 12 semester hours of course work in the particular area of specialization A Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education is required. All professional educators must meet the certification standards for the position in the state where the position is located. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The position requires normal physical activity with the work, field travel, and attendance at meetings and conferences from the duty station. The work also requires lifting hardware and peripheral equipment, and cables. On-site field service involves operation of motor vehicles, which requires possession of current State Driver’s license.
