They each made 32’s on their ACT but never put much time into studying as high school came with ease. All three are partiers but quickly have to mature once getting to college. Eli joins a fraternity (Sigma Nu) and goes off the deep end and is slowly moving further away from his girlfriend Summer and flunks his 1st year of college. On the other hand Summer and Sarah join a sorority and are very well liked by all the sisters. Summer and Sarah attend college parties the first semester but Summer quickly realizes her and Eli’s relationship is over and she begins to take college more seriously. Summer excels at Stanford, while her friends Eli and Sarah face numerous struggles during the first year. Sarah’s parents are concerned about her grades and her party attitude and they threaten to withdraw her from school and make her return home, specifically if her grades do not significantly improve during the second year. Sarah starts maturing and following Summer’s lead, partying less and studying more. Summer is very popular and she becomes president of the Sorority. She begins mentoring Sarah and another sister, helping them study and get their act together. Summer becomes very popular on Stanford’s Campus, volunteering to help students, participating in student government, and working in the cafeteria, to earn money for school. She is doing everything right, and her friends are doing everything wrong. They are not thinking about their future, and the opportunity that a college degree offers. They are partying away their parent’s money and flunking class. The movie starts to really focus Summer’s intelligence and her activities on campus, becoming a role model to many girls on campus. However, part of her wants to party with her friends, and she keeps those thoughts hidden from everyone except for Sarah. Summer is really a closet party girl and she goes out late at night when all the sororiety sisters are already asleep. Summer becomes very upset and lonely because she does not have a real boyfriend, she only has the sleezey dudes she meets at the night club. Sarah see’s what Summer is up to with the late night antic, drinking, and hanging with the rough crowd. She knows she must help her friend, because she owes it her for, because she helped set her on the right track. Sarah recently met some nice guys in her “Republican Political Bring out the Vote” group and she realizes that one guy in particular, Stephen, a fellow Stanford student, would be perfect for Sarah. Sarah’s intervention includes introducing Sarah to Stephen, in an effort to get her to be interested in something other than sleezy late night hang outs. Although Stephen is a geeky nerd type, him and Summer hit is off, as they have a lot in common. They join the campaign trail for Donald Trump, where they become very close and end up falling deeply in love. Summer and Sarah help each other during their college life as they balance out their college life problems. Summer gives the advice and helps with the academic problems that appear in the two’s life and Sarah helps with Summer’s love life. Sarah and Summer go on to exceed in nursing school with each other’s help. Summer ends up graduating from Stanford’s Nursing School with top honors, and Sarah happily graduates with her. Stephen ends up graduating a political science degree, and Donald Trump, who was very impressed with Stephen’s campaigning and people skills, offers him a job at the Whitehouse as part of his “image” staff. Stephen and Summer marry, and Summer and Sarah move to D.C, to become part of President Trump’s medical staff. Sarah and Summer become great friends with Donald’s daughter Ivanka, and she ends up marrying Summer’s brother.
