Sarah Houbolt – Bio
Sarah Houbolt is a professional circus and physical theatre performer, specialising
in aerials, acrobatics and hula hoops. Sarah has trained and performed with Vulcana
Women's Circus (2001 – 2008) in Australia, The Dust Palace aerial theatre company
(2007 – 2012) in Auckland, and most recently with Touch Compass Dance
Company, in preparation for their upcoming 15th Anniversary show. In addition to her
performance career, Sarah has both local and international work experience in
community development, community arts project management, disability advocacy
and lobbying, creative writing, and circus teaching. Her story recently featured on
Attitude TV.
