EVENT RULES
Remember to keep your checkout receipt throughout the event. For a winning bid, any
donation made over the estimated value is tax-deductible. All proceeds benefit CHT
Preschool’s playground rebuilding fund.
WALL OF WINE
To participate in the drawings for the opportunity to win a lot of wine, tickets may
be purchased in the following increments: 2 tickets for $25; 6 tickets for $50; or 14
tickets for $100. Tickets will be placed in a bowl with the matching stub to be kept
by the purchaser. Winners will be announced at the end of the evening.
MYSTERY GRAB
To participate in the Mystery Grab for the opportunity to win an item, please approach
the Mystery Grab volunteer. S/he will take your bidder number for the Mystery Grab
that you choose. This payment buys you the chance to select an appropriate box. Each
“grab” is a winner. Winning items may be picked up at checkout.
SILENT AUCTION
Each item will have a bid sheet on the display table near it with a title that clearly
identifies the item. The starting bid is clearly posted on the bid sheet. To bid, write
your name and amount you want to bid on the bid sheet. Each subsequent bid
must be a higher amount than the previous bid and satisfy the minimum raise to be
considered a “valid” entry. You may exceed the minimum raise amount. You may
bid on any items in the silent auction until the silent auction has ended. The highest
bidder at the time the auction closes shall be the purchaser. Results will be posted
at the end of the evening.
LIVE AUCTION
To place a bid, raise your hand or your program. The auctioneer has the right
to determine and set bidding increments on each item. The highest bidder
acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser.
FOR ALL WINNERS
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on any item. All items
have been donated to Christ & Holy Trinity Preschool and are auctioned by the
institution, not the donor. Any prices listed are the estimated fair market value
set by the donors. Dates and times of services are to be arranged through mutual
convenience of the buyer and donor. Payment for all items must be made in full
before the closing of this event on April 4th, 2014. All items may be taken once payment
is made.
