Schedule for Vista Ridge Marching Festival 2014
At home, pack your bag containing:
 Your costume pieces, including your NUDE BRA! You should NOT be
wearing any other colored bra! Be prepared to run at practice if
you are wearing anything other than a nude bra .
 Makeup, including SAFETY PINS, preferably large ones
 Jazz Shoes
 Water Jug
 Warm up jacket and pants – it will get chilly when the sun goes down if
you are working a festival shift at that time ;).
4:30 If you are currently working a festival shift at this time, you may leave
your shift to go eat.
***If you were NOT working a festival shift, you need to arrive to Gupton at
this time to eat with the rest of the team/band – you can arrive in your
costume with your show shirt and some shorts over your unitard, your
tennis shoes, bring your jazz shoes, skirt and bolero with you!! AND
please arrive with your hair & make up already done!!!
4:45 You will go eat in the grassy area behind the visitor side bathrooms
(same as last year).
5:15 Get dressed in full costume in visitor side drill team rest rooms; then
grab your props from the prop truck! **I will be arriving at this time to
help pin skirts.
5:45 Block up in the area on the home side where we enter the stadium.
After the Vandegrift performance we will enter the stadium wearing full
costume and carrying your water jug and props.
 Once we are in the stadium, we will put our water jugs against the wall
by the field, and warm up.
6:00 Rehearsal begins on the Field at Gupton
6:45 Students go to set 1
7:00 Perform
7:15 Go get water jug, exit field via ambulance ramp, put up props, and
go back to visitor side drill team rest rooms to change back into your
festival shirt (if you are still supposed to work a festival shift).
**If you are not working at the festival for the rest of the night, you will:
 Make sure you have all of your belongings and that you cleaned up after
yourself in the restroom, and you may leave.
 Pick up will be at Gupton.
**If you are still working the contest or you are staying to watch, you
will:
 Make sure you have all of your belongings and that you cleaned up after
yourself in the restroom.
 Report to your shift.
 If you are watching other bands compete, REMEMBER YOUR
BEHAVIOR! You are representing out band and school! 
 Pick up will be at the BAND HALL if you stay until the end of the
contest.
