Simon Dwight from the Kings Arms Project has told us about the opportunity that we have in Bedford to serve and provide for families of Syrian refugees coming to our town over the next few years. Kings Arms have set up a Facebook page which you can find here https://www.facebook.com/refugeeappeal The project is looking for any who may have properties to rent, furniture and equipment for unfurnished properties, resources for welcome packs for arriving families of refugees, people with DIY skills and those willing to do cleaning on properties at short notice to make homes for refugees pleasant to enter into. Draft Mission Statements A reminder that your vote on a new Mission Statement for our Church must be cast by the end of November with the votes to be counted on the 29th Crafters All good things must come to an end, and it is with some regret that Cranfield Methodist Church are announcing that the Craft Group – Cranfield Crafters held on Monday evenings during term-time has now closed. A ‘new’ Cranfield Crafters will be run at the Methodist Church on alternate Friday afternoons from 13.30pm to 15.00pm. The first meeting will be on 8th January 2015 with an opportunity to make Dea greetings card and to help decide some of £84.50 the crafts that we might try in theDe future. As things stand at the£84.50 moment we are unable to offer a crèche facility, but would not want to stop anyone with small children coming along. We would just say that you will have to be responsible for your own little ones.
