Xerox Workcentre 5150 (BIH 621X) Printing – Mac 10.9.4 Mavericks
Mac’s can connect to BIH621X via Casper. http://mediawiki.middlebury.edu/wiki/LIS/Casper
To print a document, open the Print Dialog box.
Then click on
Choose Xerox Features
Under Job Type, choose Secure Print
You will be prompted to enter
and confirm a Passcode.
In order to avoid confusion, we
highly recommend that you use
your Copy Code (normally your
ID # without the leading zeros).
Next click on Paper/Output and choose Advanced
By Configuration: click on
Accounting
Choose
Xerox Standard
Accounting or
Auditron
Then Click OK
Make sure your setting is “Always Prompt.” Don’t enter anything in the Default Accounting
Codes section. Click OK.
At this point you might want to save a Preset.
When you click Print, you will be prompted for a User ID.
Enter your Xerox Copy Code (normally your id # without
the leading zeros).
Account type should be “Default Group Account”. Leave
Account ID blank.
Xerox Workcentre 5150 (BIH621X) Print Job Release Instructions
Don’t bother to log in to the machine. First push the job status button
Then select your first print job in the list of jobs
Push “Release” on the screen.
The machine will ask for your Copy PIN/Code. (normally your id #
without the leading zeros)
Once you enter your code ALL your print jobs in the queue will print.
