FA Licensed Coach Education Tutors required
Great players need great coaches. But who coaches the coaches?
To create quality coaches, The FA must boast a qualified, specialist and diverse tutor workforce for
each level of qualification and offer improved support. This cohort of tutors will educate and shape
the next generation of coaches by teaching ideas, values, philosophy and principles.
As part of our annual licenced tutor audit, we now seek applications from coaches who possess the
right credentials to join our current workforce of licenced tutors to support the delivery of the
following courses and we welcome applications from all parts of the community as we seek to
diversify our tutor workforce:

Additional recruitment needs
In addition to these regional tutor recruitment needs, we have identified as part of The FA coaching
strategy and Football’s Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination action plan, the need to increase the
number of female and BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) tutors within our coaching tutor
workforce. We are therefore also actively seeking applications from these under-represented
groups, for the above courses as part of this current recruitment process.
As part of our drive to address this under-representation, successful female and BAME applicants
will be asked to identify which County FA or 1st4sport approved centre will support the applicant
through the co-tutoring process. The centre must deliver the course the applicant is applying to
deliver.
Application Procedures
