Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAP) Reflection—Classroom Management Plan
A) List how you fulfilled the following FEAP descriptors in creating your Classroom Management plan:
A. Quality of Instruction
2. The Learning Environment. To maintain a student-centered
learning environment that is safe, organized, equitable, flexible,
inclusive, and collaborative, the effective educator consistently:

Organizes, allocates, and manages the resources of
time, space, and attention;

Briefly explain how you fulfilled each FEAP descriptor
in your Classroom Management Plan.
I organized each section of my classroom management
plan by bolding the titles of the main topics. I made sure
that the classroom management plan was accurately
organized and gave attention to each section of the plan.

Manages individual and class behaviors through a wellplanned management system;
I planned my incentives for positive behavior, which
was class money, and disciplines for disruptive
behavior, which was loan slips.
c.
Conveys high expectations to all students;
I have rules and procedures that I expect all of the
students to follow. I am going to share those
expectations with my class on the first day of school.

Models clear, acceptable oral and written
communication skills;
I checked my classroom management for spelling and
grammar to make sure it was appropriately written.
f.
Maintains a climate of openness, inquiry, fairness and
support;
I have an open door policy for the families of my
students. I provide a variety of communication tools, so
that the parents can be as involved in the classroom as
that would like to be.

Adapts the learning environment to accommodate the
differing needs and diversity of students
I created my floor plan to accommodate the differing
needs and diversity of students. I placed the students
with ADHD and the students with learning disabilities
in the front of the classroom. I placed the ESOL
students with English speaking students so that the
ESOL students could practice their English. I placed the
students from the same country in the same vicinity, so
that the students can still talk in their native language.
Continuous Improvement, Responsibility, and Ethics
