Annual Programme
The programme of excavations, lectures, and excursions runs throughout
the year.
EXCAVATIONS: Members participate in field-walking, geo-physical surveys,
site planning, excavating, finds processing, etc. Currently our Field Unit is
working at Rocky Clump, Stanmer. Join the "diggers" for active
archaeological research, training is given!
LECTURES: During the winter, illustrated lectures are given by
specialists on a wide range of archaeological and historical subjects, with
particular interest on local and regional topics. Lectures are held centrally in
Brighton.
EXCURSIONS: Coach excursions take place during Summer months.
LOCAL HISTORY FORUM: Holds
walkabouts, on topics of local interest.

PUBLICATIONS: The Society's newsletter "FLINT” appears half-yearly,
with Reports and Accounts published annually.
Excavations
EMAIL UPDATES: Twice a week updates are sent out by email. Monday’s
reports on the weekends activities and Thursday’s lets you know what is
happening the following weekend.
