Beef Show Rules
Custom Feeding Rule
Youth that are not providing daily care and management for their
Animals will be disqualified.
Example- Custom fed by someone other than immediate family.
Those who wish to file a complaint may do so with the show management.
1. The beef show will be “blow and show”. The use of paint, glue/adhesives and boning soaps will NOT be allowed. Animals will be checked before entering the ring and violators will be disqualified.
2. No hair coloring will be allowed in grooming of all beef exhibits. Any attempt to alter animal color or breed characteristics including the addition of hair or other added material, natural or man-made (excluding false tail switches) is prohibited.
3. All beef exhibits will be subject to inspection and handling by the Cattle
Superintendents and/or agents at any time.
4. All unruly beef project animals will be dismissed from the show ring.
5. Heifers may show both ways if double entry is paid.
6. New for 2015 All beef born after January 1 st 2014.
