I. Call to Order and Welcome.
President Jim Hensley called to order the June 2015, meeting of the Rolling Plains
Chapter Master Naturalist. He welcomed all members and guests.
II. Officer Reports.
Penny Miller moved that the May 2015, Minutes be approved. Terry McKee
seconded. Minutes approved.
Betty Brown moved that the Treasurer Report be approved. Kay Murphy seconded.
Report was approved. $3,339.69 April 2015, Balance. $15.00 income. $100.00
expenses. May balance $3,254.69. Report approved.
III. Committee Reports.
Nature Tracker:
 No report.
Quail Project:
• Quail call counts will be conducted over the next two weeks.
IV. Old Business
 No old business.
V. New Business
 June 3, 2015, 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Rolling Plains Quail Appreciation Day,
Electra AgBarn, West Business 287, Electra, Texas. $10.00 per person.
 June 6, 2015, Trails Day at Lake Arrowhead State Park cancelled. The trails
are flooded and will not be dry in time for the activities.
 June 20, 2015, Breeding Bird Survey Penny Miller, Henrietta, Texas. Leave
5:00 a.m., begin survey at 5:53 a.m.
 June 27, 2015, Great American Campout at Lake Arrowhead State Park at
7:00 p.m. Activities include s'mores roasting, nature scavenger hunt, and owl
calling.
 July 7, 2015, Rolling Plains Chapter Meeting at 7:00 p.m., River Bend Nature
Center
 August 1, 2015, 9:00 a.m. Deer Fest
