Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a 1,011-bed Level One Trauma Center located on beautiful Davis Islands outside of
downtown Tampa, FL. For more than two decades, TGH has been a leader in organ transplantation. TGH is the only
hospital in West Central Florida performing adult heart, lung, kidney, pancreas and liver transplantation.
We currently have the following positions available:
Transplant Coordinators - Pre-Kidney
Responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team to develop theory-based patient care for both Adult and
Pediatric patients undergoing solid organ transplantation (heart, liver, lung, kidney or combination organs) from candidate
selection through long term post-transplant follow-up.
Requirements include FL RN licensure; BSN; a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience OR a current CCTN (Certified
Clinical Transplant Nurse) or CCTC (Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator) certification.
Nurse Manager - Thoracic Transplant
Responsibilities include providing clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on
the unit.
Requirements include FL RN licensure and BSN. Two - three years of management experience; national certification; and
experience with thoracic transplant patients preferred.
