Art Night: Friday, May 15th!






Food Vendors, silent auction, crafts, opportunity baskets and a sweet shop!
Come and see your child's art projects!
Pre-sale tickets sold Monday 5/11 and Wednesday 5/13 before and after school.

The annual Summer Kickoff Party will start this year's Summer Library Program with fun and entertainment on
Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Viridian Event Center and Veterans Memorial Park in
West Jordan. There will be free live music, entertainers, activities, exhibitors, a giant inflatable playground, train ride
and crafts for the kids. West Jordan Police will be on hand with and the West Jordan Fire Department will have a fire
truck and ambulance available for kids to explore. You can also sign up for the Summer Reading program at the party.
Families are invited to bring blankets and a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park.



Discussions are in the works to change current school grades at Skyline High School to 9th-12
grade. This will impact our school in that Churchill Jr. may change from 7-9th grades to 6-8th
grades. More information will be provided about the change at the upcoming Community
Council Meeting on Thursday 5/14 at 3:30pm. Join us if you are interested in learning about
this potential change.



