Naas Park Run ~

Caragh School the first Primary school to take part.

6th class pupils of Caragh National School recently participated in the

Naas Park Run 5K at Naas Race course. After a number of weeks of lunch time preparation under the guidance of teacher Karen Banks they went well prepared for the challenge. The Naas Park Run team gave them a great welcome and issued certs as they are the first Kildare school to participate in the event. It turned out to be a great morning as many teachers and parents also became involved. Many pupils appear to have caught the bug and intend to make the run a weekly event.

Birthday Invitations

In line with the Anti-Bullying Policy of the school, invitations to birthday parties and other social events should not be issued through the school. The practice has led to children and families feeling excluded, and in future all invitations should be organised outside the school.
