PAS Enhancements Major system changes to incorporate the donation process into the existing block disconnect process o Retained blocks to be donated will now use the disconnect process Donations will now be added to the weekly NPAC report to check contamination levels o Multiple disconnect requests are now allowed to be submitted on one screen o Individual SP reports will contain both disconnects and donations, with notation of the SP’s historical donations Automation of Manual Processes o Intra-Service Provider Ports Requests (ISPP) will now be processed in PAS o Enhanced and improved the internal rate center consolidation process to allow for some of the anomalies that previously had to be done manually Modification of Processes for Handling Grandfathered Numbering Resources o SPs will be able to make modifications and disconnects to their own existing grandfathered resources directly without PA intervention o Grandfathered NPA rate center combinations will be viewable only in dropdown selections for valid users o Total Numbering Resources Report will contain grandfathered resources Enhanced and Improved User Messages and Work Items o Many user messages, error messages, work item names, default data entries, email subject lines, or warnings have been added, modified, or clarified to provide the user with more accurate messages o Work items for both external and internal users were changed to eliminate nonessential or unnecessary work items ( and they will drop off the list after 30 days) Expansion of and Modifications to User Notifications o Allowing for SIM (Supplemental Implementation Meetings) notification to non-PAS users o Also allows for non-PAS users to have relevant information sent to them (e.g. additional contacts) o Changes and additions to user profiles to allow more flexibility in providing user notifications o The subject line of the Part 3 emails will be more informative. Part 3 emails will now show the disposition of the application in the subject line (e.g. APPROVE, DENIED) Enhancements to User Selection Menus o Expansion of selection drop-downs, e.g., adding “Select All” or adding additional selection criteria such as state or NPA o Addition of calendar pop-ups for easier date selection Attaching documents o Documents can now be uploaded directly into PAS; PAS will retain the documents and allow users to view the documents submitted for a given request PSTN Activation o SPs can now enter their PSTN activation information directly into PAS instead of sending an email o SPs can submit delays in their PSTN activation which will prompt an email to be sent to block holders informing them of the delay o A new public report is available which lists all codes where PSTN activation has NOT been confirmed Miscellaneous Enhancements o Some reports have been reformatted or modified based on external user and PA input. Any user that utilizes automated data extraction for public reports should be aware of such changes. Pool Tracking Report has several changes suggested by SPs The Donations report is now a new report called Donations and Disconnects – Legacy donations are noted. Added a new report for Part 1Bs o Adding default data entries in forms where appropriate o User profiles have been enhanced to include point-of-contact changes, ability to choose state and OCN designations for additional contacts, and identification of contacts for seeking of new block holder and code holder o PAS will now suspend a user for 30 days before disabling them; email notifications will continue during suspension period o Changes in block status types in block reports to include a new pending status with a future effective date, and removing “Conditional” availability associated with donations o The remainder of Change Order 24 affecting FTP is included o Multiple code request capability is now available
