P7 Transfer Forms
These forms will be sent home with your child today. Following publication of the results on
Saturday 30 January could you complete and return all the forms by Monday 1 February. If you require a meeting with the Principal please complete the reply slip attached and return also on Monday 1 February. Appointments will be arranged that week on receipt of all reply slips.
Post Primary Transfer process for parents of P6

The purpose of this leaflet is to ensure parents receive timely information about the range of issues to take into account when making important decisions about the next stage in your child’s education.
Catholic Schools Week
To mark the beginning of Catholic Schools Week on Sunday 31 st January we have been asked to select a number of children to participate in the Offertory Procession at each of the weekend Masses in the parish. If your child would like to take part please contact let Miss
Toner know which Mass you will be attending. Children will be selected on a first come first
served basis. Any children attending the Masses over the coming weekend are encouraged to wear their school uniform to represent the school as part of the congregation.
P7 7 P3 DVD Order
DVD orders MUST be placed by tomorrow afternoon.
Sponsored Swim
We are presenting a cheque this week to the Newry Lions for £900 from our Sponsored Swim events.
Woodwind Lessons
Mrs Logan will not be in for the next two Wednesdays. Woodwind lessons recommence on
Wednesday 3 February. The missed lessons will be made up to your children before the end of
June.
P7 classes visit St Joseph’s Boys’ HS
Boys and Girls in both P7 classes will attend an activity afternoon in St Joseph’s on Friday at
12.30pm. They will have an early lunch/dinner before they go.
Credit Union Quiz
The first round of the Credit Union Quiz will take place on Friday 29 January in St Colman’s
College at 7.30pm. The chosen representatives from St Ronan’s must be at St Colman’s by
7.15pm in full school uniform.
World War II Event
Mrs Carroll’s P4 class will visit the Palace Stables Armagh on Wednesday for a World War II event and Miss Toner’s class will visit on Thursday.
Tayto Factory Trip
Miss Hughes’ P3 class will visit the Tayto Factory on Wednesday and Mr McEntee’s class will visit on Friday.
