When something is due on a specific date, it means at the beginning of the hour! Period. No exceptions. Either it’s done, or it’s a zero. Also, keep in mind that you can’t use your late slip for any of the due dates! Use every minute of class time effectively. And be proactive- you know weeks ahead of time when everything is due, so you’ll know when you need to work out of class. Periodically, I will give a participation grade for the hour worth 10 points. If you work quietly and vigorously all hour, you will get all 10 points. The final paper will be worth 200 points, so it’s a substantial grade; however, the other assignments due on the due dates will be worth a total of 65 points minimum. So, if you’re worried about the final paper grade, it’s vital you earn all of your points for due dates along the way and any participation points for working. Good luck!!
