A Performing Arts College Person Specification Business Manager (School Resources Manager) Selection Criteria Knowledge and Understanding Has a degree (or level 4 equivalent) in accounting or related field Has achieved or is working towards NCTL Business Manager qualification is desirable Has achieved or is working towards an accounting qualification Has demonstrated further professional development through qualifications or training Has significant experience of working in business administration, accounting or related industries Experience of successfully leading a finance team in an educational environment Knows and understands what constitutes high quality financial management Has the strategic financial management ability to develop long, medium and short term financial plans Knows, understands and can demonstrate the ability to lead sustained improvement in standards of finances, financial control and resources Has proven ability to plan projects and manage change to secure the improvement of College resources, administrative systems, IT systems, environment and business processes Experience of developing new organisational systems including contracts for staffing and resources.
