The Art Center of Corpus Christi offers a variety of unique spaces perfect
for your special event  a wedding and reception, quinceañera, shower, dinner, or
party, workshop or business meeting. Our spaces are uncommon and interesting.
Devary’s Courtyard is of a classical Mediterranean style with a grand
staircase that leads to a protected second story veranda encircling the entire site.
This veranda also affords a magnificent view of the bay and marina area. The
elegant stairway is the focus of many ceremonies and photo shoots.
Mediterranean lights across the Courtyard add a soft glow for dining and dancing
under the stars. The 6,000 square foot lighted courtyard will accommodate most
any event up to a maximum of 450 guests.
The Bay View Room, with its dramatic open ceiling and grand views of
the bay and the city, is a room to remember. With 1,043 square feet of space, it
will accommodate 88 guests for a formal dinner or 120 guests in a cocktail
setting. It is a great location for smaller weddings, showers, receptions, business
meetings, formal and informal parties or other special events.
The Meadows Gallery holds elegant events within an ever changing array
of the original art exhibited at the Art Center. This spacious gallery boasts 2,900
square feet and has an 18 foot open ceiling. The east wall of the gallery opens
onto Devary’s Courtyard through three sets of French doors. The perfect
combination for a wedding reception or any event is the Meadows Gallery and
Devary’s Courtyard. Combined, your guest list may increase from 150-400
guests.
Studio B is available for artists members to rent on a weekly basis. The
studios allow a working artist to be visible to the public and to offer his/her work
for sale with all the proceeds going to the artist.
Smaller spaces can be arranged for small showers, lunches, birthday
parties, teas and private parties.
