New web presence for Water Management:

presents
the
comprehensive
Water
Management portfolio on a new online platform.
Dortmund. The Water Management Division is the second important pillar of
WILO SE, in addition to Building Services. From planning and project
supervision to installation and maintenance, customers at Wilo get everything
from one source. At the end of 2014 Water Management launched a
redesigned internet presence, at www.wilo.com/watermanagement, where
WILO SE provides information in German and English about innovative
solutions for raw water intake, water supply, sewage management and
sewage treatment technology.

"In the Water Management Division there are no standard "off the rack"
products, so it is especially important here to understand customer needs and
to present customised solutions," says Marcus Neppl, Head of Sales for
Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the Water Management Division at Wilo.

Considering the many challenges created by climate change and globalisation,
such as heavy rain showers and dry periods, an ever-increasing global
population and insufficient resources, it is becoming more and more important

Wilo has system solutions for raw water intake, from wells and chambers for
example, and for water distribution and pressure boosting, for fluctuating

municipal sewage management with regard to technical performance and
efficiency. For example, Wilo has an extremely efficient, ready-for-connection
system for pumping stations: The Wilo-EMUport solids separation system is a
real innovation in sewage disposal – it works very efficiently, with low
operating costs and is easy to maintain. Special feature: Before the polluted
sewage passes through the pump region, the solid material is filtered out and
retained in separate vessels. Since only pre-purified sewage flows through the
pump hydraulics, the free ball passage of the pumps can be designed to be
considerably smaller than in conventional systems and greater efficiency is
achieved.
