LIMITED WARRANTY
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, WILO USA LLC MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCTS, PARTS OR
SERVICES PROVIDED BY WILO USA LLC INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLICATION
OR USE.
Length and Scope of Warranty
WILO USA, LLC offers the Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship as set forth below, in accordance with and subject to all requirements of WILO installation and operation instructions, when such installations are operated under normal conditions. Pumps that handle abrasive and/or corrosive liquids are not covered by this warranty unless specifically agreed to in writing by WILO USA, LLC. All pumps are warranted only for the original application and specific hydraulic conditions.
WILO USA LLC warrants to the original purchaser that:
(a) Residential Business Services Products (Classic Star, Circo Star, ECO and Z15 circulator pumps) shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty six (36) months from the date of manufacture or twenty-four (24) months from the date of installation;
(b) Commercial Building Services Products (Top S, Top Z, Stratos, Stratos D, Stratos Z, IPL, IL,NL SCP, MVI, MVIS,
Helix and MP/MC) shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) months from the date of manufacture or twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase; and
(c) Packaged Building Systems Products ( COR Booster Systems) shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of eighteen (18) months from date of manufacture or twelve (12) months from the date of installation.
Products that handle abrasive and/or corrosive liquids are not covered by this Limited Warranty unless specifically agreed to in writing by WILO USA, LLC.
OBLIGATIONS OF WILO
WILO USA LLC's sole obligation shall be to either repair, modify or replace, at its sole discretion a defective product which, (a) is received within the applicable warranty period; and (b) has been inspected by WILO, an authorized
WILO distributor or authorized repair center to confirm the existence of a defect. Any products shipped to WILO for warranty service must be shipped prepaid to WILO, an authorized WILO distributor or authorized repair center, as directed by WILO. Repaired products shall be returned to the purchaser freight collect. Any schematics and start-up reports, as applicable, satisfactory to WILO USA, LLC are required from purchaser prior to consideration of any claim under this Limited Warranty.
WILO will not be liable for any costs of removal, reinstallation or transportation or any other charges which may arise in connection with a warranty claim. If WILO determines that any claimed failure is not, in fact, covered by its warranty, Buyer shall pay WILO its then customary charges for any repair or replacement made by WILO.
OBLIGATIONS OF PURCHASER
The purchaser is responsible for all freight and rigging charges for removing Products from service and delivery of the Products to and from WILO or its authorized repair facility. The purchaser is responsible for all repair costs that are deemed to be outside of the scope of WILO’s warranty.

EXCLUSIONS AND EXCEPTIONS
This Limited Warranty excludes damage or wear to products caused by misapplication of product, improper maintenance, improper installation accident, abuse, misuse, unauthorized alteration or repair, Acts of God, or installation or operation that is non-compliant with WILO published installation and operation instructions.
The foregoing warranties do not apply to products that are (a) designed by the Buyer or (b) which are specially designed for particular projects, in which case a specific warranty may be negotiated between WILO and the buyer.
The foregoing warranties also do not apply to Products that are sold by, but not manufactured by WILO, in which case WILO shall assign to the buyer any warranty that was made by the manufacturer with respect to such product.
WILO’s warranty does not cover damage caused by chemical action or abrasive material, misuse or improper installation unless the same was installed by WILO with full knowledge that it would be used to pump or circulate such chemicals or abrasives.
All claims under this warranty must be returned to an authorized WILO distributor for processing, along with proof of purchase, installation date and, if applicable, replacement date. A WILO authorized distributor will then contact
WILO for final product evaluation and processing.
WILO will not be liable for any damages that may arise through product failure. There are no express or implied warranties beyond those warranties described or referred to above. This limitation of liability may not be enforceable in some states.
