This is part of a new program at Goodwill called "Fundraising Donation Drives”, which allows schools and organizations to earn money by collecting donations and bringing them to an onsite Goodwill collection area on the day of the event. Items are weighed, put into bins and loaded by Goodwill donation attendants. For every filled bin, Midway High School PTO will receive $50 from Goodwill. Donations quickly add up, as organizations that have taken part in the program have averaged about $1500 per event! “When you host a donation drive with Heart of Texas Goodwill, you are able to raise money for your organization by simply donating unwanted clothing and household items. Supporters can bring their gently used items to the Midway High School parking lot on Thursday, November 12th or Friday, November 13th between 7AM – 4:30PM.
