The pediatric intensive-care clinic primarily specialized in neonatology is seeking a
PEDIATRIC NURSE (f/m)
The St. John’s Hospital in Regensburg is the largest Catholic clinic in
Germany (Eastern Bavaria) with 875 beds and about 2500 employees and is the teaching hospital of the
University of Regensburg. Besides we are also present at our two locations in the Prüfeninger Straße and
the St. Hedwig Clinic for children, young adults and women.
The intensive care unit of the St. John’s hospital has a bed capacity of
18 beds and is part of the Prenatalcentre Level 1.
Responsibilities:
o Providing Intensive care of premature babies and sick premature babies
o Providing intensive care of children and young people staying at our interdisciplinary
intensive-care unit
o Providing medical care and supervision of patients requiring artificial respiration
o Preparation and supervision of medication
o Supervising patients and ongoing documentation of care
Job Requirements:
o Licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse (pediatric)
o Working experience in neonatology or comprehensive primary health care of children
o Willingness to interdisciplinary care
o Good mental and physical fitness
o Ability to work in a team
