C. 1.12 Shipping and Handling: Deliver all manufacturers products to the job site in the original packaging with all components intact and inspected for any damages in shipping. Do not open until all specifications have been met. Storage: All products are to be stored in a safe, dry location with no potential for exposure to moisture, excess heat or cold and allowed to acclimate to climate. Site Acceptance: Insure that all product packaging has been inspected and found free of damages, follow all criteria for storage as listed above. Project Phase Completion: All manufacturers products should be installed in the finish phase of the project, generally after all paint, dust, flooring and other trades have been substantially completed. Product Acclamation: For a minimum period of forty-eight (48) hours and prior to unpacking or installing any wood products, allow both the installation area and the wood products to stabilize in temperature and humidity levels that are representative of the final temperature and humidity levels expected after building completion and occupation. Do not install products if the humidity exceeds 60%. Product Handling: Handle wood panels carefully so as to avoid scratching, denting or damaging the wood finish or other portions of the unit(s). WARRANTY A. The manufacturer’s warranty should be submitted to the Owner(s) or Owner(s) Representative upon delivery of the products to the site. All warranties are effective from the date of delivery to the site. The warranty for all products should be a minimum of one year and include product replacement in the event of defect, warping out of tolerances and finishes. 1.13 MAINTENANCE A. Maintenance: The manufacturer’s instructions for the cleaning and maintenance of the products shall be delivered to the Owner(s) and/or the Owner’s Representative upon delivery to the site.
