Administers and evaluates permits, including pre-application consultation,
evaluating applications, and monitoring permit compliance. Personally
evaluates the more complex, controversial, or environmentally sensitive
applications and permits. Proposed and permitted projects typically have
major impact on the environment, and high consequences with respect to
political, financial or policy factors. Typical projects include, but are not
limited to, major channel dredging, surface mining, major port facilities,
dredged material disposal sites, highways, bridge approach and causeway
fills, large marinas, and commercial, industrial, and/or residential
development projects involving structures, dredging or filling in navigable
waters, or discharging dredged or fill materials in waters of the U.S.
Evaluating complex projects requires all or most or providing advice, which
essentially commits the district to a course of action, to potential applicants
concerning regulatory requirements.

 Specialized Experience: Experience with Section 404 of the Clean Water
Act and Section 10 of the Rivers & Harbors Act. Extensive knowledge of the
404 jurisdictional determinations and Wetland delineations. Experience with
NEPA and EIS processes.

Administers and evaluates permits, including pre-application consultation,
evaluating applications, and monitoring permit compliance. Personally
evaluates the more complex, controversial, or environmentally sensitive
applications and permits. Proposed and permitted projects typically have
major impact on the environment, and high consequences with respect to
political, financial or policy factors. Typical projects include, but are not
limited to, major channel dredging, surface mining, major port facilities,
dredged material disposal sites, highways, bridge approach and causeway
fills, large marinas, and commercial, industrial, and/or residential
development projects involving structures, dredging or filling in navigable
waters, or discharging dredged or fill materials in waters of the U.S.
Evaluating complex projects requires all or most or providing advice, which

 Specialized Experience: Experience with Section 404 of the Clean Water
Act and Section 10 of the Rivers & Harbors Act. Extensive knowledge of the
