Academics Did you miss picture day? Retakes will be on October 13th. Laptops will be issued to students only if they have turned in their Technology Use Agreement. If you have not turned in your form, please turn it in to your English teacher ASAP. Freshman are reminded that they are required to attend tutorial after school from 2:35 – 3:05 pm. Bring your yellow passport to get signed by your teacher. If you need a passport, stop by the main office. The Student Store is now open!! Stop by at lunch to pick up some snacks, beverages, and Saints Spirit Wear!! Activities All students, the food drive for our Homecoming spirit week has officially started! The food drive bins are located in the Main Office! Please donate canned food or dry pasta, all donated food items will add up to Homecoming spirit points, but more importantly, they will be going to families in need! Thanks Interlake! Attention All Clubs! – Club Picture day for the yearbook is Wednesday, October 21st. Make an appointment for your club with Mrs. Bennett in 2605 or 1809 or email her at bennettm@bsd405.org. Lady Saints, are you interested in trying out for Drill Team? We will be holding tryouts in the main gym in the mornings from Wednesday, September 16 – Saturday, September 19. Check the counseling office for packets and more information. Auditions for the fall play: This year’s fall play is the Mystery/Comedy, “While the Lights Were Out.” Auditions are September 16th and 17th afterschool 3-5 in the Theatre. Audition packets are available in front of the Theatre Box Office. Auditions are open to anyone and experience is not required. If you have any questions see Mr. Richards in the Theatre during tutorial. The Interlake Model United Nations Club will be having its first meeting on Friday, September 18th, at 3:05. It will be in Room 2704, Mr. Becker’s room and there will be free food! Do the Puyallup! Come by the Accounting office to pick up tickets for the State Fair. Community Service and Career Opportunities and Scholarships College Visits – Tomorrow, an admissions rep from Boston College will be here at 8:30am. If you would like to attend this College Visit, please see Mrs. Ball in the Career Center for an admissions slip. On Wednesday, UW’s Minority and Diversity reps will be here. On Thursday, Reed College, Miami University and Northwest University. Stop by the Career Center for details and a schedule. Looking for Community Service hours? Several local non-profits are looking for you! Stop by the Career Center for variety of upcoming volunteer opportunities.
