Baker will be mowing every other week until April. We are in the dormant non growing season. Lawn Watering Standard Time Change Daylight Saving Time ended on Sunday, November 2nd. You may water your lawn on Saturday if your home is odd numbered and on Sunday for even numbered. Please remember to water only when needed and not between 10 AM and 4 PM. Watering is permitted for no more than one hour per zone. Tennis Court Keys The tennis court gate has been replaced. Anyone who currently has a key to the tennis courts needs to stop by the office to receive a replacement. Yard Housekeeping Issues No yard signs only real estate signs permitted per WTV covenants. Fall is here along with cooler temperatures so we should all have an opportunity to spruce up our landscaping and yards. Let’s try and keep our community a pleasant neighborhood to live in. Office Hours The WTV Office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to Noon. Street Parking Temporary Parking at Clubhouse Even though the City of Winter Springs approved street parking at the February 2014 city commission meeting, parking vehicles on the streets of Wedgewood Tennis Villas is prohibited. TEMPORARY parking at the clubhouse house is permitted. You must have a sheet of paper on the dashboard with the following information: Per city definition, local streets must have concrete curbs and a minimum of 22-feet of paved parkable space (including gutters) to be eligible for on-street parking. All streets without concrete curbs are not eligible for on-street parking. Also, city code prohibits the parking of vehicles in a front yard of any residential lot. Name Address Contact phone number All parking spots are guaranteed to clubhouse rentals during an event. Your vehicle will be towed, at your own expense if there is no contact information. Atrium Fences Trash Pick Up Household Garbage – Curbside Service, Two Times per Week on Tuesday and Friday. Yard Trash – Curbside Service, One Time per week on Wednesday. Containers and bags may not exceed 50 pounds in weight. Bundles must be tied and not exceed 5 feet in length. Trash cans should be stored behind a fence or in the garage. Please be mindful that garbage cans attract wild animals. For the health and safety of your neighbors, place garbage receptacles in garages that are not accessible to the animals. Atrium fences throughout the neighborhood have been grandfathered by the city of Winter Springs to allow everyone to keep their current height when replacing the original fence with a new one. If you choose to remove your atrium fence, please remember that you must place landscaping where the fence once was. Atrium fences may be 4 to 6 feet high.
