Participants will be able to navigate the Home tab of the Ribbon to edit text, edit paragraphs and lists, edit styles, insert text boxes, shapes, and pictures, and edit themes. Participants will be able to navigate the Layout tab of the Ribbon to change the document orientation, create breaks, add columns, and edit page backgrounds. Participants will be able to navigate the Document Elements tab in the Ribbon to view the header and footer, and add word art. Participants will be able to navigate the Table tab in the ribbon to create a table and edit the table style. Participants will be able to navigate the Charts tab in the Ribbon to create a chart. Participants will be able to navigate the SmartArt tab in the Ribbon to create a Smart Art graphic. Participants will be able to use the Review tab to track changes and make comments on documents. Participants will be able to use a template to create a document. Participants will be able to show and hide non-printing characters to reveal the formatting of a document. Participants will be able to use cut, copy, paste, undo and redo buttons. Participants will be able to use keyboard shortcuts for commonly used features. Participants will be able to use the format painter to copy desired formatting from one part of the document to another. Participants will be able to find and replace text. Participants will be able to use the Format Picture sub-tab to change the formatting of clip art and other graphics. Participants will be able to use the Review tab to track changes and make comments on documents.
