HCLT and LTLT Invite you to Float down the Little T!
On Saturday afternoon, May 16th, two land conservation organizations, HighlandsCashiers Land Trust and the Land Trust for the Little Tennessee (LTLT) will cosponsor a float trip down the Little Tennessee River in Franklin. A limited number
of canoes and of kayaks will be available for a 4.5-mile trip down the river to the
4,800-acre Needmore Game Lands, LTLT’s flagship conservation project. Along the
way we will see Cherokee cultural sites, stream restoration sites, and wildlife
which may include bald eagles and river otters. The cost of participating in this
