Recital Measuring Sheet
This measuring sheet will help me to decide what size costume to order your child for the recital, please take your time
measuring them. Here are the measurements that I need and how to measure your dancer. Please make sure you check
the measurements twice. I will be ordering costumes the second week of December. Please turn this information sheet
in before December 1st. Thank you.
Bust measurement: Take the measuring tape around the body underneath the armpits and across the breasts.
Waist measurement: Take the measuring tape around the body above or at the belly button and under the rib cage.
Hip measurement: Take the measuring tape around the body over the middle of the rear end and at the hip bones.
Girth measurement: Take the measuring tape and place it on the center of the right shoulder, run through crotch
(between legs) and back up to the right shoulder loosely. This is the most important measurement!!
After you have measured your dancer please turn in the bottom half of this sheet. We will keep in mind growth room!

** Tights are determined by the dancers Height and weight. You will receive one pair of tights for recital. This is included in your
costume deposit.

Please turn in this form to the office or your teacher before December 1st. If you wish for one of us to
measure your dancer please stop in the office and we can measure for you Monday, Wednesday or Thursday
5:15-9:00 or Tuesday’s 4:30-9:00.
