Miss Representation
Of course everyone knows that media these days controls most of peoples
thoughts and personalities. The media as well is the main cause for a big case
running around the world. The case of women being undermined and them
facing a lot of sexism.
How do you expect any girl who never had a role model achieve her goal?
She had no one to look up to and imitate. She found no woman in the position she
wanted to reach. “ You cant be what you cant see” This is a quote taken from a
documentary; talking about women and how they don’t like being undermined
and unappreciated. “Miss representation” also talks about the fact in which
women are being affected politically.
The media all around the world portraits the images of women being
weak, soft, and independent. With the media sending out the wrong messages,
and the females having no one to look up to. They face a lot of trouble achieving
their goals, and reaching the high position they want in their career. People don’t
trust women enough to put them in high positions of control; being a politician
can also require, being known for something good. While women are being
known as unworthy of control; they simply reach less votes from the population.
Hence they get affected and rarely elected for any high position of control.

People always seem to forget that we all come from women who suffer for
nine month and who carry live human beings in their bodies. The biggest
problem is when women start to consider themselves as the weak link, and just
accept it. They start to think that their role in life is to be sexy, attractive , to
serve their men , and depend on them
A lot of actresses these days try to prove the opposite; by acting in roles
that show how a woman can also be independent, strong, and how tshe can use
her beauty to gain what she wants. Women have a lot of good traits that men
don’t share. Most of the roles that include females, view them as a sex tool. They
have be sexy and attractive to get anywhere in life. These images affect small
girls who yet know nothing about the world. They will directly run the thought
through their minds and think that they are truly dependents. Dependents who
rely on men to live; while the truth is men can never live without women as well.
Men and women are both imperfect human beings; face it know one is perfect.
Women are soft, kind, and caring. A lot of people see caring as a bad trait, while
we all know that being cared for and nourished is one of the best feelings.
Surprisingly when it comes to women reaching high positions, caring suddenly
changes into a bad trait that can bring them down.
Of course men love being in control over women; they just love having
power. Hence they never seem to care about women being undermined, because
they benefit from it.

In conclusion I would like to state that not all men are strong and
powerful, neither are all women weak, and independent. I believe in equality
because both genders carry the weak and the strong personalities. People need a
caring heart to look after them; they also need a strong human being that knows
that desperate times call for desperate measures. It doesn’t matter what gender
that human being is, as long as he/she can fulfill the requirements
