Opening Activity
- Teacher is starting the lesson by greeting students.

Main Activity
Building Knowledge of the Field
- Teacher starts the lesson by explaining subject matter which will be given to
students.
- Teacher asks students to mention the short functional texts which are usually
used in their daily activities.
Modeling of the Text
- Teacher gives examples of short functional texts.
- Students repeat what teacher said with correct pronunciation and write the
examples of short functional texts in their own book.
Join Construction of the Text
- Teacher divides the students into some groups, each group consists of three
persons.
- Teacher asks the students to read a short functional text.
- Students mention what kind of text that has been read, the communicative goal,
and the language features of the text.
