and gynaecological cancer and for families undergoing complications in early pregnancy, including
miscarriages.
Michelle House, Corporate Fundraising Officer said. “We are delighted that Greendale has chosen us as their

represents a real boost to our fundraising work with local companies.
“Fundraising in partnership with our local corporate community is vital and I would be delighted to hear from
other business people in the area who may be able to support us in some way”.
The Jigsaw Appeal for Women aims to raise £1.5m to build a new Women’s Health Unit at the Royal
Bournemouth Hospital . The new unit will be a centre of excellence to screen, diagnose and treat patients with
breast and cervical cancer, for families touched by the tragedy of having a miscarriage and to provide teaching
and training.
For the first time, the unit will mean that healthcare professionals can deliver an integrated care pathway,
within one unit and with privacy and dignity at the heart of a loved-ones journey through this difficult life
event.
