volunteers!!!
BUT. . . WE NEED YOU!!
Many of you know about the Junior/Senior Prom but have you heard of After
Prom? After Prom is a very special fun-filled, alcohol-free, and drug-free event
that follows Prom. After Prom is open to ALL Juniors/ Seniors & their invited
guests. A junior or senior need not attend Prom to go to After Prom.
Our 22nd annual Northmont After Prom "Stompin Good Time" is Saturday, April
18, 2015 at Northmont High School from11pm - 3am. This fabulous tradition
provides games, inflatable bouncers, food, drinks, and prizes; a truly FUNFILLED haven for all that attends. Parents, teachers, school staff &
administrators, city officials, business owners, civic leaders, and community
members all generously support this important & much- needed event.
Our purpose for contacting you is to inform & excite you and your student! An
event of this magnitude requires LOTS of support! We need monetary donations,
door prizes and of course - most of all YOU! We need over 100 volunteers to
operate the evening's festivities. PLEASE go to our Google survey right now to

Prom night is one of the most exciting, but potentially dangerous, nights of our
high school students' lives. TOGETHER we can continue to provide a SAFE &

WHAT IS AFTER PROM?
After Prom is a FUN event that occurs AFTER prom. It begins at 11:00pm and
ends at 3:00am. Students arrive at Northmont High School AFTER 'the dance" in
casual clothes. Students are given $16,000 in play money as they entered the
beautifully decorated NHS through DOOR 1. There are games of chance where
students can earn more money, if they chose. With their play money, students
may buy a prize in the general store. Prizes could range from grab bags, gift
cards, t-shirts, up to Vera Bradley bags or maybe a tablet. ALL food, drinks,
games, prizes, and photo booth pictures are included in their ticket price. Tickets
are $15.00 each.
Just Northmont Juniors & Seniors that attend After Prom, are entered into a
special drawing for door prizes. The top door prize is $1000.00 Cash, generously
donated by the Northmont Education Foundation. The special catch is students
MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!! Once students enter the building, they may not
leave and re-enter. Door prizes are given away every ½ hour starting
at midnight. The largest prizes are given away at 3:00 am to entice the students
to stay at After Prom for the entire 4 hours.
The high school is broken into different fun areas:
Commons - Food, Drinks & Tables for socializing
Cafeteria
- Casino (black jack, craps, showdown, big wheel, etc.)
Big Gym
Inflatable Fun (mechanical bull, obstacle course, etc)
Small Gym - Carnival Games (ring toss, football toss, putt-putt hole, etc)
VMR
- The General Store (prize room)
And sprinkled throughout the building will be other guessing games, a
professional photo booth, and giant trike races. You will be amazed at the
transformation of our NHS.
We encourage (& BEG YOU) to please get involved! Many parent volunteers
work with their spouses or friends! We have as much fun as our students. Plus,
it's a great opportunity to see our teenagers laughing & having fun with their
