The core of the System Nurse Residency Program is the UHC/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ framework, Memorial Hermann Clinical Development Specialty core curriculum programs, trained coaches, and a well-rounded orientation experience. The objective of the program is to enable the new graduate nurse to develop from an advanced beginner into an exceptional competent nurse. With this System Wide program, Memorial Hermann is committed to providing new nurses a strong foundation on which to provide safe patient care, an environment that is committed to supporting and nourishing them, and an investment in the Future of Nursing. Key features of the System Nurse Residency include: Twelve (12) month program that supports the new graduate nurse to a competent level of practice.
