
General yard duties, skipping out stables, upkeep of the yard and general equine

From working at the Beecher family’s yard in Loughnatousa I gained valuable experience dealing
with horses of all breeds, types, temperaments and ages. I had the pleasure of working with Paul
for a very long time. He helped me to endlessly improve my riding and confidence with horses
which may have proven difficult. I was very lucky to see horses pass through Loughnatousa, from
helping to break them in to seeing them compete at the peak of the national show jumping circuit
and even up to winning the Hickstead Derby (Loughnatousa WB, 2012). My time at Loughnatousa
set me up to go on and work in other yards bringing on young horses and riding competition horses.
Paul has agreed to be a reference and is willing to take any phone calls regarding my work and
experience at Loughnatousa.
