Position Title: Assessor

Major Duties:
1. Administer initial face-to-face clinical and psychosocial assessments.
2. Ensure completion of agency consent packet including all required income forms for fee for service coverage.
3. Administer any needed instruments as part of the assessment process.
4. Utilize crisis intervention prevention techniques to de-escalate issues associated with social, emotional and behavioral issues
of low income and at-risk children and families.
5. Collect and record behavioral observations in a treatment setting.
6. Offer diagnostic impression(s) using clinical skills and DSM-IV.
7. Assessments are to be completed within 48 hours after appointment is made.
8. Assessments are to be entered into ShareNote and finalized within 24 hours of appointment completion.
9. Complete non-billable progress notes as outlined by company policy.
10. Provide weekly written reports providing updates regarding assessments assigned, assessments completed and any service
delivery issues.
Qualifications/Requirements (PLEASE READ): If all qualifications are not met, your application will not be considered.
Qualifying experience for this position includes at least two (2) years of specialized experience which is directly
related to the position, and has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge and skills to successfully
perform the duties of the position. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Chemical Dependency,
Counseling or a Social Science field, and Therapist ST, LAPC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW status in the state of Georgia is a
plus. Also, the candidate should have experience with C&A clients, Bio-psychosocial assessments, DSM IV,
administering CAFAS, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and familiarity with clinical terminology. Bilingual a plus.

Traveling required at least 95% of the time within the Metro Atlanta Area; must use own vehicle and provide proof
of automotive/liability insurance.
