The model looks OK. Now you need to ensure that you have modeled everything that you need to
achieve your goals with the model.
About views: "views" are generated using the "Find Instance" functionality on your model. See
the Introduction to Metis lecture slides where I have described the functionality to do this. So,
you don't manually select the domains, but you generate your view by automatically selecting the
relevant objects using this functionality.
You need to start thinking what views you need based on the purpose of your model.

Good case. This is a very good start and it's good to see that you have used i* as well as MEAF. Now you
should think how you would "connect" the two models as the templates are not integrated. You could
identify specific objects in both models and say that this is how they related to each other.
The purpose of the model is well explained. Now you can think in more detail of how you would use the
model contents. Also, the additional contents (domains, relationships, etc.) to model.

Don't confuse "views" with "templates". "views" as required in the assignment are selective views from
the model. See the slides on introduction to Metis to see bthe functionality to do this.
Note that you should try to use the relatationships that are defined in the metamodel. e.g. if
you want to connect Organisation object to Person, select an instance of either "organisation"
or "person", point to the other object and click the right mouse button. In addition to the
General relationships, you will get a list of possible relationships. Use General relationships only
when you don't find the relevant relationship. Then you must label the relationship using the
properties. Also, this must be explained in your report as a "metamodel change"!
I think your model looks good though. Now ensure that it meets the requirements fir the
assignment and explain things well in your report.

It would be good to start thinking a bot more detailed about the purpose of the model and what you
want out of the model which will help you enhance the model and help you decide on the views, how

Nice model. Well done! However, I have a few questions related to the logic in your model. So, think
carefully about these and ensure that you explain things well in your report so that the reader can see
your thinking clearly.

The process model- it seems that it is a very sequential process. Is that how you intended it to be
or are there some processes happening in parallel?
The applications are "owned by" more than one person. Is this correct? Could this not lead to
problems?
It is not clear what you mean by "accessibility" or "my solution". So, you need to explain these
well in your report.
It is unclear from the model how you will detect corruption from the model, which is the main
purpose of the model. It is important that you think carefully about how your model can support
this.

The case is good and interesting, as expressed in an earlier discussion. You seem to have a clear idea of
what you want from your model and you have also identified the users. This is a very good start. I would
have like to see the idea for a model already. Hope you are working on that and that it's progressing
well.
It would be a nice approach to see from each user's perspective what they might want out of the model
and create your views for specific users – just an idea. May be you are thinking along the same lines.

Why do you use "General relationships" instead of ones that are defined? You should try to use

model and how it can meet the purpose you have identified.

not clear if you are very clear about what you are going to model using Metis for your assignment. It is
also unclear how you are going to model.
Please read carefully the assignment descriptions and start thinking of a model as required. Start
thinking of your case as a Metis model and try to meet the requirements of the assignment. Please
prepare for the presentation of the term paper nest Thursday.

Are you now sure what you want out of your model and how you will do that? Does the model support
it? You need to be asking yourself these questions.

Add the "goal" to a container.
Why do you always use "general relationships"? Use General relationships only when you don't

It's good that you have created a relationship matrix – you need to create some for the
assignment. However, a matrix of all the instances against them does not make much sense. So,

In terms of meeting the requirements for your assignment, you need to think carefully. Here are some
things to consider:

Clarify further the purpose of the model and how you will achieve this. This will help you identify
how to evaluate your model. This should be an extension of your case description.
In the model, it may be helpful to use the concept of the "container" to structure the model.
You currently have two "domains": the process and the organisation. Both are very good and
clear. Ask yourself, how can I enhance these to include 5 domains? E.g. could persons be another
domain? Could the documents be another domain? You need to think of 5 domains to meet the
requirements for your assignment.
Which views are you going to create? This will come from the analysis of your purpose of the
model and what you want out of it.

The case looks interesting and is certainly a very appropriate one for modelling. However, your case
description provides little indication of how or what you intend to model or how your model will help
you achieve your goal. I hope you have come further in designing and creating your model already based
on this case. Otherwise, you are running late and you need to start asap!
Please start thinking about the model and how you would develop it and what you would like to achieve
from your model. I'm looking forward to some ideas about this in you presentation on Thursday, ideally a
model, be it in Metis or on paper.
