Pray for Rev Mark Welsh as once again he opens God’s word and shares the challenge that the Lord is bringing to us. Pray for Rev J. Pray that God’s plan and purpose for Strean will be brought to fruition in every decision being made in the coming weeks. For guidance, togetherness and a spirit of prayerfulness. Pray for God’s strength and help for those who are ill, in hospital & nursing homes. Also comfort for those grieving the loss of loved ones in recent weeks. Give thanks for volunteers at Hydebank College (young offenders and women’s prison) providing help through literacy skills and befriending. Johnny & Dr. Lynn Dowds – Livingstonia, Malawi Pray for continued growth of the maize which is looking green, for continued rainfall. Rain is needed to refresh the barren land and bring life back to the poor communities. Many are concerned for their future harvests. Pray for Johnny & Lyn and their children, Cody & Suni in boarding school in Zambia. Lord, help us to focus our eyes on you, as we pray for and support those working across the world. Help us to reach out to those from many parts of the world who are walking our streets here in Newtownards. May we develop personal contacts and friendships across cultures and that Strean continues to be a caring place with all barriers broken down.
