Last day of term- Anzac (April) Gunfire breakfast, community breakfast. 6am (Dawn), 7.30 breakfast finish at 8.30am students go to class. Forms will be sent home from school. Monies held from last Anzac. Kyoka has been briefed and Paul will continue to liaise b. Uniform Report distributed c. Canteen Kyoka has requested new commercial rice cooker @ $200 All agreed d. Fundraising Entertainment books scheduled. Dawn suggested fundraising with BULBS – fundraiser for teenagers with cancer, Daffodil bulbs/ bulbs with a difference, proceeds go to the school. Hot cross bun fundraiser for Easter, Bakers delight, $1 discount, Andrea will organise. Delivery anticipated for the day before Easter break. e. Safety House Sharmaine will contact the Safety house rep at Safety house WA and invite to our next meeting f. WACSSO Rep, Claire will invite Sarah Join to share position 8. GENERAL BUSINESS a) Welcome to P & C, Morning tea; Kindy and Pre primary tour. Wed 11th & Thurs 12th March 2015. Claire and Natalie can assist. Andrea can do Wed. Canteen’s help not necessary. Kyoka to use urns. b) Information booklet for parents regarding purposes of P & C and voluntary contributions. Displays showing purposes of the P & C and chart showing contributions received vs goal. No one available to continue with at this stage. c) Events planner Halloween Disco 30th October 2015. Open night 26th August. Multicultural concert to be decided d) Workshop- Right to feel safe, proposed by Andrea Manning. 2 hour workshop at the school, cost $500. Suggests a gold coin donation, not for profit. Invite other schools. Andrea will investigate further and report next meeting. e) Multicultural concert Lottery grant application, apply for grant and if successful propose plan for Multicultural concert, alternatively the food fair. Pali will invite aboriginal representative to discuss the Noongar and natural history with school community. Gentleman in particular advisor to George Cameron for Avatar. f) Easter bonnet parade, the winner to parade at assembly.
