Andrea Marconi Joins Thorpe Shwer
Thorpe Shwer is pleased to announce its newest partner, Andrea Marconi,
has joined the firm. Andrea practices in the areas of commercial litigation
and business torts. She has extensive experience in litigating complex
commercial disputes for a diverse group of national and international
business clients in a wide variety of industries. Andrea has a strong
background in financial services matters, including regulatory actions and
compliance, matters involving consumer products and services and
allegations of deceptive or abusive trade practices, electronic financial
transactions, payment processing, credit card processing, and ACH
transactions.

care industry, including representing health insurers in numerous matters,
including ERISA defense, coverage issues, defending bad faith claims,
and defending a national pharmaceutical manufacturer in an MDL action
involving pricing issues. Andrea also has experience litigating a wide
array of business and real estate contract disputes and representing
numerous clients in disputes concerning intellectual property rights,
including patent, trademark and copyright infringement claims, trade dress
violations, and related indemnification actions.
Andrea most recently practiced as a partner with the law firm of
Fennemore Craig and previously practiced with Squire Patton Boggs. She
was named as a Southwest Rising Star® in Business Litigation in 2013
and recognized as a Southwest Super Lawyer® in Business Litigation for
2014 and 2015.
Andrea is also very active in the Bar and community. She serves on the
Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association and is the immediate
Past President of that organization. Andrea also serves on the Board of
Directors for the Arizona Humane Society and Herberger Theater Center.
