Players MUST be aged 8 years to under 16 years on date of event and MUST comply with
the following.
All competitors MUST hold a current membership license NO LICENCE NO CONTEST

Boys: -27 -30 -34 -38 -42 -46 +46
Section B: Girls & Boys under 12 years (on the day) 7th mon and above:
Girls: -28 -32 -36 -40 -44 -48 +48
Boys: -27 -30 -34 -38 -42 -46 +46
Section C: Girls & Boys aged 12 years & above but Under 16 years (on the day) 9th mon and below:
Girls: -40 -44 -48 -52 -57 +57

Section D: Girls & Boys aged 12 years & above but Under 16 years (on the day) 10th mon and above:
(this includes kyu grades etc under 16 years of age)

The Organisers reserve the right to amalgamate adjacent weight groups dependant on the number of entries.
Weigh-in Time: 4th October All Sections 5pm til 6pm
5th October Section A & B 8.30am til 9.30am Section C & D 11.30 til 12.30pm
Method of Competition: Compound knock-out and repecharge or Pools K.O. and rep BJA contest rules to apply
throughout the event.

Sue and Alan Jones of AJ Judo Clubs are running this Competition in memory of Ryan Birch. All money raised will
be split between British Judo Trust Fund chosen by Ryan’s wife Rowena Birch and AJ Judo club who wish to support
Air Ambulance. Alan and Sue want to continue Ryan’s memory through Judo.
Come along and support this competition and help remember our good friend and judoka Ryan Birch who sadly
passed away last year in a car accident. Ryan Birch ex British International and Olympian at Barcelona and Atlanta
and was European Champion in 1994. Ryan gave so much for so long even when retired, long live his memory.
